How far is the hotel from JFK/LaGuardia/Newark?


JFK Airport is 16 miles from The Redbury New York (approx. 45-minute drive and 60-minute subway + Airtrain ride).
LaGuardia Airport is 16 miles from The Redbury New York (approx. 30-minute drive and 60-minute subway + bus transfer).
Newark Airport is 17 miles from The Redbury New York (approx. 60-minute drive and 60utemin LIRR + Airtrain).


How much will a taxi cost to JFK/LaGuardia/Newark?


Taxis at JFK Airport charge a flat fare of $52 for trips between the airport and Manhattan. Taxis impose a $4.50 surcharge during peak hours (4–8 PM weekdays, excluding holidays), for a fare of $56.50. The daily hotel facilities fee includes high-speed Wi-Fi access throughout the entire hotel, daily drip coffee service from 6:30am–10:30am at Vini e Fritti, two bottles of water, daily city-wide passes to New York Sports Club , evening turndown service upon request, concierge and business center services (printing, faxing, copy, and notary), itinerary planning and travel reservation assistance, unlimited local and toll-free calls, as well as, a map of New York City.

No, but The Redbury offers daily passes to New York Sport Clubs, with the closest location under a five-minute walk from the hotel.

Housekeeping

Our dedicated housekeeping staff will refresh your room or flat every day between 9am and 5:30pm. Please let us know if you would like your housekeeper to come at a particular time, and we will do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Should you need toothpaste, deodorant, extra towels, pillows, shaving cream, a toothbrush, a razor, a comb, or any other sundries, please do not hesitate to ask.

Guests can request an airbed for a fee of $25 per stay. Please note: the airbed can only be accommodated in the Deluxe room categories or higher.

Laundry

A laundry valet bag and itemized pricing ticket can be found in the armoire in your room or suite. You are welcome to drop your garments at the host desk or call us to retrieve them. The Redbury uses a laundry service that handles dry cleaning, laundry, and pressing, as well as rushed overnight service.

Parking

Preferred rates for overnight, covered garage parking spaces are available. Notify front desk agent upon check-in to secure preferred rates.

  • Rapid Parking: 10 E 30th Street, between Madison and Fifth
  • Pricing: $45 sedan, $55 SUV, $65 minivan, per 24 hours

Transportation

We can arrange limousines, car services, or car rentals to meet you at your convenience. The entrance to the hotel recently moved from 30th Street to 29th. We recommend mentioning this to your cab driver.

Pet Policy

We’ve updated our pet policy to ensure you never have to leave your loved one behind. Not only are we moving to no fee or deposit, we’re also saying NO to discrimination (Hey, it’s 2020!). The Redbury New York invites you to bring your furry family member — no matter their size, weight, or breed, all at no extra charge.

Smoking Policy

The Redbury New York is a non-smoking hotel. A $500 fee will be imposed for guests that fail to comply with this non-smoking policy.
